CIVIL LITIGATION ATTORNEY
Lia Comeau studied international relations at Boston University in Massachusetts prior to moving to Florida, where she completed her undergraduate degree with a 3.7 GPA at the University of Miami. After her graduation, she moved to Tampa, Florida, and began working at a boutique family law firm. She later went on to attend Stetson University College of Law, in Gulfport, Florida where she was a teaching assistant for trusts and estates, a certified legal intern providing family law research at Gulfcoast Legal Services, LLC in St. Petersburg, Florida, and an extern for a Sixth Circuit family law Judge.
Prior to joining Bernhardt Riley, Lia spent her time reviewing corporate business documents, protecting privileged information from discovery. She also labored in the construction industry, remodeling kitchens and bathrooms. Lia is excited to be a real property attorney and looks forward to any and every opportunity to assist and represent the clients of Bernhardt Riley.
When Lia is not working, she enjoys reading, antiquing, and home renovations. She also enjoys traveling the Tampa and Sarasota areas with her family, searching for seashells and delicious food.
